About Hiking Dolomites Italy
A guide for your days on the Dolomite trails
Hiking Dolomites Italy is an independent guide for everyone planning to walk in the Italian Dolomites. Here you will find a guided day from Molveno to the refuges of the Brenta group, the best hikes from easy loops to long days, Seceda and its cable cars, Val Gardena and the Alpe di Siusi, how to get there by plane, train, bus or car, how the Dolomites compare with the rest of the Alps, which month suits your trip, and which boots and gear to bring.
The site is available in English and five additional languages. It is written first in English.
How we research
Every number on our pages comes from a source that we link to at the bottom of the page: mostly the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation, Visit Trentino, the Molveno and Val Gardena tourism offices, the Seiser Alm tourism office, the Seceda cableways and the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, with climate data from the South Tyrol weather service. Information on tours, that is duration, languages, inclusions, and starting prices, is taken from the offers on GetYourGuide.
Mountain weather changes fast, trails and lifts close for snow or maintenance, huts keep their own seasons, and fares change from season to season. Listings also differ in what they include, the cable car ticket above all. That is why we tell you plainly what a listing states and what it leaves open.
How we make money
Hiking Dolomites Italy is funded through the GetYourGuide affiliate program. When you book through one of our links, we receive a commission; your price remains the same. There are no advertising banners here, and we do not sell your data.
